EPISODE NOTES:
This week we’re wrapping up Season Two of BTG in Crawford, CO. I’m excited to introduce you to Lark Abel, a glass artist from North Fork Valley Creative District, Colorado Certified.
It’s really special to create from scratch for Lark. When she’s done with a commission, it sounds extreme but she almost feels like she’s given birth. As artists, Lark believes we reach deep inside ourselves to get that creativity to come out.
My question for you – how does it feel to reach within your own creativity and make something of it? Please consider sharing your thoughts in the comments below!
LARK’S BIO:
Lark began her career as a self-employed artist at 19. Beginning with graphic arts and signs, she made a name for herself on the island of Kauai where she lived and raised her son Tim for 26 years. Lark has been designing and creating carved and etched glass panels for many of the finest custom homes built in Kauai, Hawaii, and Laguna Beach, California since 1985. Her love of wildlife and nature brought Lark to her new home in the junipers of Crawford, Colorado.
