EPISODE NOTES:
This week we’re back in Pueblo, CO to visit with Kim Faiella-Furrh, an artist and teacher from Pueblo Creative Corridor, Colorado Certified.
Kim has created for as long as she can remember, and she feels lucky to have a family that supported it. When Kim is teaching with kids, she’s focused on the lesson of the day and having it be successful for them. There’s nothing more important or exciting to Kim than for the kids to enjoy the process of creating so that they leave proud of themselves and what they’ve created.
My question for you – who in your life has supported and nurtured your creativity? Please consider sharing your thoughts in the comments below!
KIM’S BIO:
Kim was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania though moved to the suburbs of New York City as a teenager. This mixture provided a dynamic foundation of an early appreciation of nature with street smarts and big city excitement. She now resides in Pueblo, Colorado and is the owner and founder of SAGE Art Academy, a unique art space where art is taught, shown and created. Kim’s work is sensual, bold and raw, filled with shapes rich in color and layered texture connected together by lines and areas of void which may seem unintentional but are all part of the master plan to a successful piece of art.
